I adore the 30s. It was a time of change, of new hope and emancipation for people who had never known such freedoms. Hedonism was rife, people were daring and the world changed forever. The Great Gatsby epitomised that era and my family have been fascinated with this. Indeed, I recall that furniture and styles prevalent during my childhood reflected that time. Fortunately I have inherited and retained some of this and whilst my kids were discovering themselves at University and the like, they studied this period with great interest. I have provided a family snapshot from an event held at my home to honour this time. If you scroll down there it is.

Welcome to my page
Welcome to my site which is my sounding board and blog for sharing ideas and experiences. I believe it is the people out there who really make a difference and a pool of ideas and healthy discussion or brainstorming session engenders more progress than we give credit for.
I love to communicate and this medium is marvellous. Please post, comment, disagree, debate or add anything you like. Our Woolgathering thoughts and ideas are important. Who knows where it will all end or what we may achieve.
Welcome everyone and enjoy blogging.
