Now that I'm retired and have lots of time on my hands, apart from writing I've rediscovered knitting and sewing. Out has come the sewing machine and roman blinds are finished and look good. The sense of triumph when creating something oneself cannot be surpassed.
For my knitting I've been buying up Sirdar knitting patterns and wool and am enjoying the completion of a few small items, knitted hats for Winter for those in the family that want them, now working on mittens and floppy berets for the fashionistas in the family.
Yes, I'm truly woolgathering now folks.
Now I need to buy a tailor's dummy and I've got that ambitious feeling today.
I love retirement!
Welcome to my page
Welcome to my site which is my sounding board and blog for sharing ideas and experiences. I believe it is the people out there who really make a difference and a pool of ideas and healthy discussion or brainstorming session engenders more progress than we give credit for.
I love to communicate and this medium is marvellous. Please post, comment, disagree, debate or add anything you like. Our Woolgathering thoughts and ideas are important. Who knows where it will all end or what we may achieve.
Welcome everyone and enjoy blogging.
