Yes indeed. I've been pootling around in a car and still have such a need so I've decided to keep fit the easy way, cycling and some swimming. My new bike is a very natty little Claude Butler town bike (complete with basket on the front) and is lightweight and easy to handle. I'm having a lovely time discovering my local area once again, realising in the process how fortunate I am to live in a place that has lovely scenery and lots of trees.
Riding a cycle is much more sociable than driving. A car is quick and convenient but has a tendency to cut one off from contact. Often this is a safe bet but during the day, summer or winter, a pootle on a bicycle is very pleasurable.
I highly recommend it.

Welcome to my page
Welcome to my site which is my sounding board and blog for sharing ideas and experiences. I believe it is the people out there who really make a difference and a pool of ideas and healthy discussion or brainstorming session engenders more progress than we give credit for.
I love to communicate and this medium is marvellous. Please post, comment, disagree, debate or add anything you like. Our Woolgathering thoughts and ideas are important. Who knows where it will all end or what we may achieve.
Welcome everyone and enjoy blogging.
